On Friday Night, we have the remarkable privilege of transporting you around the world to an ancient land filled with wonder and excitement - all in a single evening. Step onto foreign soil and join us for an exclusive visit with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China!
Today’s program takes place in the embassy’s unique Cultural Building in Washington, D.C. In addition to an incredible program, you will be amazed at the incredible architecture, the wonderful artwork, and the cultural artifacts located throughout the embassy.
CHINESE TEA TASTING:
The embassy is preparing a unique full presentation on Chinese tea. The presentation includes a comprehensive introduction to the Chinese tea mountain, tea-making, tea-drinking, and the history of the transformation of tea. It includes all kinds of videos of and pictures.
All attendees will have to partake among multiple tea sets for hands-on experiences.
CHINESE FASHION AND COSTUMES:
Learn about centuries of Chinese culture via fashion and costume! In addition to learning about the outfits, you will have the opportunity to try some on, take pictures, etc.
CHINESE BUFFET:
We will be offering a light buffet of Chinese specialties.
