Travel halfway around the world and experience the majesty of Vietnam as the ambassador, his wife, and the diplomats invite you to a special evening on Vietnamese soil with cultural music, dance, food, drinks, art, and more.

On October 23, 2024, the Embassy of Vietnam will open its doors, exclusively for our members, to showcase its rich culture and traditions.

Vietnam is one of the most beautiful countries in Asia, let alone the world.   Learn more about its land, history, and culture in one fantastic evening. Join the diplomats as we experience centuries of culture from this Southeast Asian treasure.

PROGRAM:

1) DIPLOMATIC WELCOME 

Meet the Vietnamese diplomats who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

2) VIETNAMESE FOOD BY A VISITING CHEF

Tonight only, at the invitation of the embassy, a chef from Vietnam is in town and will prepare unique dishes for the event.  In addition, he will speak and showcase some of his talents!

3) LIVE VIETNAMESE DANCE PERFORMANCE AND FASHION SHOW

Experience the famous BAMBOO Dance as well as a unique fashion show of Vietnamese traditional and modern outfits!

4) VIETNAMESE TOURISM AND CULTURAL FILM

A film highlighting the beauty and culture of Vietnam will be featured.

5) VIETNAMESE ART

View the residence’s rare collection of beautiful paintings, sculptures, and other artistic pieces.

Weather permitting, you may tour the residence's beautiful outdoor gardens!

Note: The event is presented as a cultural event organized by us at the Residence of Vietnam’s Ambassador.   Your registration fee is used by Things to Do DC and Embassy Experiences solely to present diverse cultural events to our membership.
