Once a staunch communist nation on the opposite side of the Iron Curtain, Bulgaria is now a Member of NATO and a close friend of the United States. Tonight, join Bulgarian diplomats and your fellow Young Professionals as we step onto foreign soil to sample a country rich in culture and history.

Your very special evening features:

1. BULGARIAN CUISINE: 

Enjoy a heavy buffet of native Bulgarian food:

Sopska Salad(tomato,cucumber,peppers,feta)
Eggplant Dip
Cheese Stuffed Peppers
Spinach Pie
Monastry  Gyuvetch-meet,mushrooms,rice
Sarmi -Stuffed wine lives with Ground Beef/yogurt
Chicken Kebab
Dessert:            Sweet cheese pie, assorted Pettit pastry

2. BULGARIAN BAR, with SPECIAL RARE WINES:

Enjoy a sampling of traditional Bulgarian libations including wine, beer and non alcoholic beverages.  Tonight, the embassy will have special wine not readily available in the U.S.

3. BULGARIAN MUSICAL PRESENTATION:

Tonight, we will enjoy a special live Bulgarian musical presentation that will take us to the heart of this wonderful country. 

4. DIPLOMATIC GREETING:

Meet the senior diplomats as talk and answer questions about Bulgaria.  We hope, as last year, the new ambassador will be spending the evening with us as well.

6. BULGARIAN FILM:
