FEATURING:
1) ARGENTINE BUFFET with HOLIDAY TREATS:
Experience an exquisite Argentine buffet found in some of the finest restaurants and bakeries throughout Buenos Aires. Full menu TBA
2) ARGENTINE / HOLIDAY WINES and BAR:
Partake in a full evening of an open bar consisting of the finest wines and beers found in the best of the Argentine vineyards! Bar consists of wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages.
3) DIPLOMATIC GREETING:
Meet some of Argentina’s top diplomats who have come to welcome you to the embassy and celebrate the holidays with you. At present, we have invited and are hoping for the attendance of the ambassador, but this is not confirmed.
5) ARGENTINE TANGO DANCE PRESENTATION & LESSON
Taking center stage for a 20 minute presentation, we’ll marvel at a fantastic argentine tango presentation. Following the performance, they will teach you basic steps to dance the tango – Argentine Style.
6) LATE NIGHT DJ:
In the latter part of the evening, we will visit the greatest Argentina night spots clubs as Washington, D.C.’s greatest D.J.s deliver us the best in retro, swing, salsa and top 40 dancing – North and South American style!
6) ARGENTINE MOVIE:
For your potential traveling and cultural interests, enjoy an optional viewing of the scenery, culture and people of Argentina.
7) CHARITY TOY DRIVE with TOYS FOR TOTS:
Help spread joy to children this year. A marine representative from Toys for Tots will be on hand for collection. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy.
8) …AND A VISIT BY PAPA NOEL - SANTA: Santa will come to take pictures and to tell you about how HE is celebrated in Argentina
