A country whose history was war torn throughout the late 20th Century is now a symbol of peace, progress and beauty in a 21st Century thriving European, and a close friend of the United States. Tonight, join the ambassador and his diplomats with your fellow Young Professionals as we step onto foreign soil to sample a country rich in culture and history.

Your very special evening features:

1. Meet the Ambassador: 

Meet the ambassador from Bosnian Herzegovina, His Excellency Haris Hrle. .He will personally welcome you to the embassy and provide a special greeting about his country and what it has to offer.

2. Bosnian Herzegovinian Cuisine: 

Enjoy a heavy buffet of native Bosnian Herzegovinian food prepared exclusively for this event by a native chef.

The “Bosnian Born” exhibit features more than 25 acclaimed artists who were born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and now live across the Balkans, Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Their work reflects their Bosnian heritage, reinterpreted in relation to their globalized experiences during the war, their new host countries, and Bosnia’s changing context.

5. Bosnian Herzegovinian Music:

Enjoy an array of background music from Bosnia Herzegovinian - from classical, to jazz, to modern high energy hits.
