Before it was a movie made famous by Ben Stiller and Chris Rock, Madagascar was and will forever be a beautiful, unique African jewel. Tonight, journey to Madagascar without ever leaving the district as we invite you to experience a culture and people like no other in the world. Step onto foreign soil for a very special African cultural evening at the Embassy of Madagascar. Join your fellow young professionals for a special taste of native food, drinks, live music, cultural dancing, diplomats, film, and more at this African treasure.

C) Live Malagasy Band: 
Enjoy a world renowned presentation of an authentic Malagasy Band. Dressed in full authentic costume with unusual Malagasy instruments - especially the Valiha, the band will treat us to a very special performance of Malagasy music - from multiple regions throughout the country. Along the way, we'll hear cultural explanation as to the each song's origin, style and meaning. 

D) Diplomatic Greeting: 
Hear from the Head the Mission and feel free to network with her and the diplomatic staff, all of whom will be invited to this special evening, and many of whom are expected to attend. 

E) Madagascan Art: 
Throughout the Embassy, the diplomats have arranged for the presentation of special Malagasy artifacts and paintings unseen to most Americans' eyes. She and her staff will be on hand to personally discuss the art's origins and meaning with you. 

F) Madagascan Cultural Film: 
At your leisure, you are invited to watch recurring films showcasing Madagascar's cities, mountains, borders, landscape, people, tribes, safari tours, endemic lemurs,everyday culture and much much more.
