Want to travel to the Caribbean this Weekend? Tonight, step on Bahamian soil for an incredible cultural event and celebration!

This Friday night,  we are delivering the Spirit of Nassau and Paradise Island with a diplomatic touch! Join your fellow young professionals as we step onto foreign soil for an exciting evening at the Embassy of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

In a special cultural evening, we will recreate a visit to this Caribbean Jewel of elegance, charm, music, dance, great food, laughter, and more!

BAHAMIAN FOOD:
Enjoy a specially prepared buffet of authentic food native to the Bahamas including:

  • Cucumber, Tomato, Onion and Avocado Bahamian Salad
  • Bahamian Conch Fritters
  • Curried Chicken
  • Rice and Peas
  • Fried Plantain
  • Coconut Bread Pudding
  • Pineapple Upside-Down Cake


CARIBBEAN OPEN BAR including RUM:
This evening, we will pair off regional wines, beer and especially rum!


LIVE STEEL DRUMS:
A Live Steel Drum Welcome will greet you for the first part of the evening.


CARIBBEAN DJ - DJ PUMPKIN:
Playing Bahamian/Caribbean style music, DJ PUMPKIN will take us on a fantastic musical journey to the Bahamas as we dance to his special Island music, participate in a limbo contest, and recreates an island atmosphere!


DIPLOMATIC GREETING:
Meet the some of the diplomats from the Bahamas including a special diplomatic greeting!


FILM:
Enjoy a short film on the beautiful scenery, culture and people of the Bahamas


CHARITY:
A portion of Tonight's event will go to help charities assisting children throughout the Caribbean.


WIN A TRIP TO THE BAHAMAS
A Drawing will be held where one lucky winner will take home a trip to the Bahamas! Plane and Hotel included!


SUGGESTED ATTIRE
Smart Casual. For example, khakis and sports shirts or summer dresses. No jeans or shorts permitted.  Ties and business attire are not necessary. (This is an indoor and outdoor event.)
